Eli turned around as you grabbed his hand, and said those words, but he took his other hand, placed it on your face and pulled you in for a kiss. You stood there uncertain of what was happening, was he really kissing you? He can’t be. You both stood there in the moment of the kiss. As a minute passed by you finally realized what was happening, so you pulled yourself away.
You find Yuri half alive on the bed. Eli was standing in front of her. “How could you!?”, you yelled. He looked at you and his eyes grew wider as he finally began to realize what you asked. “How could I what?”, he asked you. “How could you kill her!?” “Kill her? What are you talking about?” “She’s half alive! Look! You drank her blood!”
As you sat in your bed panicking at all that was happening, you started to yell, “YURI!? WHERE ARE YOU!? WHERE’D YOU GO!?” As you began to hyperventilate, you hear the sink run in your bathroom. Yuri walks out to find you half alive in your room with your eyes all teary. “Whoa, are you alright Miri?”, she asked. “You were in the bathroom this whole time!?”, you yelled to her. “Um, yeah. I needed to pee. What? A woman can’t pee in peace anymore?”, she said as she began to giggle.
Yuri has finally arrived home, and you were there in your room still thinking about your talk with Eli. You heard your sisters room door shut, and you thought that maybe Yuri went inside. “Should I tell her what happened? Would she hate me? It’s not like I like Eli..Do I?”, you asked yourself. It’s been but about three hours since you’ve fallen asleep from all the stress that has happened in one morning. How could it be? Why you? Why would everything not be in your favor out of all the days? Why is it that when your best friend has finally returned everything seems to be heading south. Oh well. You couldn’t afford thinking that way, since your term paper is due in just a couple of days..three days to be exact.
After your long morning of realizing last night was no dream, you’ve finally reached you destination. School. Great, you were in such a rush you left your laptop at home, which held half of your term paper which is due in a couple of days. Who knew having your best friend back would make things so hectic for you? Well, you certainly didn’t.
Finally, it’s morning again. You lay in your bed, staring at your ceiling, trying to remember everything that had happened last night. “Was it all just a dream?”, you asked yourself. Slowly getting out of bed, you got ready and rushed into the bathroom. Picked up your toothbrush, and brushed away.
As he stepped into your car, you growled at yourself sitting in your seat. You kept thinking, “Geez! Why me?! Why her!? Why him!?” So anxious to finally get home because all Eli could ever talk about was himself. Throughout the whole car ride, you sat there, just paying attention t…….
